Anyone who wants to learn professional graphic design is welcome to join our vibrant virtual community. We all win when we can be ourselves 100% of the time.
University of Michigan’s Chief Diversity Officer, Robert Sellers, likens DEI to various aspects of attending a party, and we love his breakdown:
Diversity is where everyone is invited to the party.
Inclusion means that everyone gets to contribute to the playlist.
Equity means that everyone has the opportunity to dance/experience the music.
Our Community Engagement Managers support our DEI efforts by monitoring our student community conversations both in the classroom and on social media. They help students connect with each other and encourage meaningful, healthy engagement opportunities.
